Unsuccessful Fishing Trip To The San Juan

I took a trip up to the San Juan last weekend and I had absolutely no luck. Sometimes that river makes me think that I am the best fly fisherman alive and sometimes it makes me think that I am the worst. This past weekend was very humbling.

Here is a picture of a buck that has been named "Super Six". He has been around for a few years and we have been wanting to shoot him due to no brow tines , but as you can see he is still alive. Body wise he is by far bigger then any deer we have. Ho

This deer was hit by a snowplow late at night. Found it, dragged it away from the road and set it up down by the creek. I was SO looking forward to getting pictures of coyotes feeding but they never showed up! Raptor after raptor showed up to finish
