Max giesinger wants to get more rest

Pop musician max giesinger (30) wants to take more breaks after years of being on the road all the time.

"I have already noticed that i travel at a different speed in life. That certainly also led to a kind of uprooting, which i also questioned," giesinger told the deutsche presse-agentur. "You have to pause a little bit and you can’t always be on the road."

Above all, the rare visits to his home in busenbach near karlsruhe and conversations with old friends had given him food for thought. "Some get married, others have kids and their first home. And I’m still driving at full throttle on the highway and then think to myself: "they’ve already all arrived a good bit further than you have"."

The musician ("80 million", "legends"), who now lives in hamburg, wants to visit his family more often and also spend a few days at a stretch in his own apartment. "It’s not that i hadn’t brutally celebrated the whole experience. For me a rough dream went into fulfillment. But you have to find a balance so you can go full throttle at every concert," giesinger explained. His new album, "the journey", will be released this friday.
